Lc3 students are starting to make projects for term three where everyone will have to choose a project out of art, music, and technology. We split into different groups to create our projects. Our group is going to make a legendary art project by drawing and painting on a piece of paper and putting it in the walls of the toilet to make the school look better. The idea is poofect and it’s gonna be poofect. Hopefully it will spark our toilets up and make the school more epic even though it’s already epic. But our group was too big so we split into boys and girls groups.

First off all, our group is making a survey online to ask people what they like. But unfortunately, it didn't work so we had to do it on paper. 7 people voted on making comics so we will do comics more than just drawing. Our group wanted to make our comic funny so people would enjoy it more so that’s what we’re gonna do. It was pretty successful with the survey.

After we made the survey and got what people like, we started planning our drawings. Callan got an idea of making a school related comic series called school tales. So basically we planned out the characters and the places they're gonna be that’s around hobsonville like, the knitted tree, the sculptures, the giant metal dog thing, and more! We planned out all the things in the school tales comic and it’s gonna be fantastic

We counted up all the toilets that we planned to do the comics in and they were lc3-lc1 and the boys gym toilets. We put them all down into a list, frames, paper and all, and we counted them, after that, we took the list to the girl’s group and they said they would handle it. Our shopping list is done and now all we need to do is wait for an LA to check it and buy the equipment we need in order to do our projects. There is only a few weeks left to do and so we need to hurry.

We got our plan and our resources; now it’s time to draw! I was drawing the knitted tree of hobsonville point about it not being a tree but an alien and going around places in hobsonville. So i grabbed an ipad and searched up the picture. I have worked on it for a while, but i’ve still got lots to do. I think i really need to hurry up.

                                                     

animal dissection

it was a good experience to have but i wouldn't want to look at the sheep heart again. yes i did learn a whole bunch of stuff like the heart strings, the vessels, and all that stuff but believe me. it was gross. it smells yucky and everything, and you see blood and clots and stuff. it just wasn't the stuff for me. i still learned a lot that day so it was pretty good learning. tricky part was putting on the gloves. i struggled so much on it and i know you will too.

Beach ed trip

the beach ed was pretty fun for me. i learned all about rips and how to stay safe at the beach. we did a lot of activities and games like octopus. it was a superb day at the beach. we all went into the freezing cold water but it was still sooooooooo much fun. we learned about how life guards save people, all the boats and all, and everything.
